I cheated and used my sister as my model for a photo shoot! It was a good idea because thankfully I could boss her around and joke with her about family jokes. Truth be told I just needed someone to practice on, and I knew she would say yes and I had no pressure. Turns out the monster is photogenic

I’m excited to say this is one of the very first pictures that I took. Recently a photographer asked me to be her intern and I had to accept. At first I was very nervous, the extent of my pictures was off of a little camera that I got one year at Christmas, occasionally taking the nice myspace or facebook profile shot! Never would did I think I would ever have the chance to be shooting with someone so skilled, fun, and gets the fact that I’m a teenager! She has and is teaching me some very cool things and I'm honored that she asked me, at such a young age also! I have not been learning for a very long time, just the once a week lesson after school. So I was very nervous when she asked me to attend a family photo shoot with her, nervously I accepted, I knew I had to if I wanted to improve. After she was done taking their primary family shots I got to work with little Violet here. Despite the cold weather and her stomach growling she was a star and made my job really easy. For my first time shooting I was surprised that I got the shots that I did, and it just makes me even more excited to see what Michelle can help me with.
